LIVING ROOMS COVID(19) POLICY

The health and well-being of our residents, guests, team members and all who visit our properties is Living Rooms highest priority. Living Rooms are following the guidance from Public Health England and the government and are continuously monitoring changes to ensure the actions we take are comprehensive and suitable.

 

CLEANLINESS

 

Our cleaning and hygiene protocols have been reviewed and adapted to the current situation and we have intensified our cleaning efforts on disinfecting,including the disinfecting of all surfaces in apartments, rooms and public and front of house areas. In all spaces we have implemented the use of SOH Pure Ariel Sanitiser,a one-of-a-kind aerial sanitation solution for indoor spaces, a safe an effective system that completely eradicates airborne germs. 

In addition, we provide disposable disinfectant wipes to our operational team so they may disinfect surfaces and items between guest interactions. Front of house are also well-equipped with hand sanitisers.PPE is provided to Housekeeping colleagues at all times and others when required. We are conducting daily meetings with staff with social distancing and regular COVID19 training and new protocols

 

When a guest requests their apartment to be cleaned by our housekeeping team, they can expect the following:

 

The room attendant will be wearing a face mask, gloves and protective equipment on arrival

 

The room attendant will methodically clean the apartment following our standard operating procedures

 

The room attendant will use hospital-grade disinfectant to wipe down all areas to ensure the maximum level of cleanliness.

 

If you are unable to vacate the apartment during the cleaning process, we ask for your cooperation in maintaining social distancing. Where possible please vacate the room where the attendant is cleaning.

 

When a guest checks out, our usual rigorous cleaning process is carried out and rooms are sanitised using the SOH Pure Ariel Sanitiser. 

 

GUEST EXPERIENCE

 

On arrival to a Living Rooms property guests can expect the following:

 

Hands-free access to the property with pre-check online and contactless payment processes


Welcome email including guest directory and guide to the neighbourhood with recommendations for grocery and meal deliveries and information of what is open in the area


Clear signage displaying the precautions outlined by the government, including social distancing rules.


You will experience minimal contact during the check-in process with Living Rooms colleagues, protective guidelines and screens are present at reception areas.


Your luggage will be handled on request only, ensuring all touch points are sanitised
Keys and shared devices are sanitised
Guests of our apartments will only receive pre-packed items in their welcome hamper

 

EMPLOYEE HEALTH AND SAFETY

 

Our team members are required to complete a COVID-19 Emergency Screening Procedure and sign off before resuming regular work duties. We have also implemented a self-administered temperature check at home for our team. Employees registering any symptoms will not be permitted to work.


We have health and hygiene reminders throughout the property, including the proper way to wear, handle and dispose of masks and gloves, proper hand washing techniques, recommendations for avoiding hand touching, and physical distancing practices.


Staff will also be wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, including facemasks and rubber gloves.
